Venom Holidays (Pvt) Ltd established on 1st January 2019 with the objective to focus on booming tourism industry in Sri Lanka. Initial Company Profile was to arrange round trips in Sri Lanka & Maldives for tourist from Australia, France, Germany, Italy, United Kingdom, Swiss, Scandinavia and other potential tourism generating markets. Apart from the conventional tourism, the company has engaged in exploiting the special interest area of cricket by organizing cricket tours from schools to club levels from other cricket playing nations.

One of the key strength of the company is the know-how of hospitality (Hotels) project management. The company process expert knowledge to advice potential investors from acquisition of lands to building of a star class hotel.

Travel Agent

We are experts in organizing round Tours & Beach Stays for tourist vising Sri Lanka. Our main expertise in organizes tours to Maldives Island.  Our services include itinerary planning, hotel bookings, arrangement of ground transportation organizing permits to cultural visits etc…

Cricket

We organize cricket tour packages for foreign clubs schools. In addition we organize spectators’ visits during international tournaments in Sri Lanka. Our services include booking of grounds for matches & practice venues, special attentions cricket technical coaching, arranging local teams for matches, spin / fast bowlers for training, special accommodation packages in condos / hotels for the players and their families.

Project Management Consultancy Services

  • Contribution to concept design.
  • To draw up of a construction time plan.
  • Advice on the practical implications of the building plan (F&B Areas , Stores, Rooms and other)
  • To advice on investment saving ideas and trends.
  • Maintenance of Project Finances.
  • Handling all statutory requirement of BOI on imports.
  • Attending to all necessary documentation of the Inland Revenue Department in obtaining VAT, 22.7 & S-VAT.
  • Obtain S-VAT credit vouchers, monitoring and submitting quarterly reports.
  • Drawing up of procurement plan for all purchases and ensure that the least is paid for the best quality items available in the market.
  • To ensure that the project is completed in a timely manner. Coordination between the Investors, Architect, Cost Consultant & the Engineer.

  • Structuring and drawing up of all training and operational manuals of each department.
  • Advice on the execution of the total human resources plan (wage structure & hiring policy etc…)
  • To advice and draw up a total marketing plan for the proposed hotel. Ensuring the successful implementation of same.
  • To act as consultants for the hotel operational automation (all departments plus head office)
  • Training of staff as per the training schedule specified above.
  • To make timely site visits and supervision.
  • Provide advice and supervision on the hotel soft run.

Dharshan Hennedige

Dharshan Hennedige the Dream Creator of the company severed as the Executive Secretary of the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority for nearly seven years and having retired formed the company Venom Holidays along with his two other partners. He is professionally qualified in Hotel Management and Marketing and a Fellow Member of the CHSGA. Founder & Former Managing Director of Avant Premier (Pvt) Ltd; an Event Management Company which handles many corporates including Red Bull Sri Lanka & Google Street View.

He also processes 24 years of experience in Hotels & Travel industry at different Levels of Management.

Desmond Bertholameusz

Desmond Bertholameusz the Dream Partner of the company disciplined Food & Beverage Manager and Sales & Marketing Manager with excellent track record in working in the Hospitality industry. He individual with a great passion for food & Beverage I enjoy socializing with people, and his exceptional customer service skills have earned me the award of “Employee of the Year at the Fairmont Hamilton Princess Hotels in Bermuda” twice in a row. I have 37 years of experience in the hospitality industry in which 20 years In Food & Beverage & 17 Years with Sales & marketing. Worked for several chain hotels. Le Galadari Meridian Colombo, The Hilton Hotel Colombo. The Marriot Hotel Colombo, Fairmont Hamilton Princess Bermuda, The Ritz Carlton Kamen Island, Club Med Maldives The British Club Abu Dhabi UAE.

Brendon Kuruppu

Brendon Kuruppu the Dream Organizer of the company was former Sri Lanka National Test & One day Cricketer and a record holder and over 20 years of professional cricket. He has also severed in the Sri Lanka Cricket as National Coach, National Selector, and National Team Manager up until 2011. He is currently serving as a National Selector and a Premier Match Referee in Sri Lanka.

He has severed as the Director of Coaching and National Team Coach at Singapore Cricket Association and National Team Coach at Maldives Cricket. He also owns Brendon School of Cricket & Oval Cricket Academy, which trains over 150 students at junior levels. He also severed as Executive Director at Asian Cricket Academy for over two years. He is currently the Sporting Director of Red Bull Campus Cricket –“World Championship for College Cricket”

He has over 16 years of experience in Finance Management at Brown & Company Ltd & Informatics (Pvt.) Ltd. He had also worked as a consultant for the Bank of Ceylon.

Bimsara Kulasinghe

As a dynamic tourism and hospitality specialist over ten years of experience, my enthusiasm for travel is contagious. I have gathered a lot of experience from grass root level to policy level in multiple leading organizations . Since 2011, I have seized longstanding roles of increased accountability for leading Tourism and Hospitality establishments, such as Hilton Colombo, Bellagio entertainment, Marino Casino and Apple Holidays as a management trainee to Reservation Manager. In these roles, I have proved and continue to prove myself as an accomplished, take-charge team player with an aptitude to synchronize diversified department functions.

Shayan Hennedige

Shayan Hennedige our Travel Consultant who helps people with their travel plans. He really likes both travel and technology and wants to make travel better for everyone. Right now, he is studying Technology Management. He knows a lot about both technical things and how to make people feel welcome. Shayan wants to make travel easier and more fun by using technology. He wants to make new and helpful things for people who travel today. He also wants to make tools and websites to make planning trips, booking tickets, finding directions, and overall travel experiences better. His big dream is to change how we travel by using technology to make it easier and more enjoyable.
